Junior Infants exploring…
Junior Infants explore school building This week the class went on a school exploration. We were very excited to find out where all the other classes were based. We made some stops along the way to say hello to Sacra and Ernie. We also spoke with Karina at reception and Eimear showed us her office. Greetings from Sixth Class! Here are some of the highlights of the past couple of weeks in our class. Last Thursday Beth Murphy and Paul Finch came to visit our school and demonstrated some simple weaving skills for us. Seasonal Art We have been working very hard in 1st Class on different pieces of artwork based on Autumn and Hallowe’en. Fruit is a big part of Autumn, so inspired by this, we decided to sketch a fruit plate. We focused on line, light and shade and came up with fantastic results.
