Congratulations to 4th Class who presented their project on Australia at Assembly. Each group worked on a particular topic of their choice: Food and Drink, Culture, Geography, History, Fashion, Animals and Fish and Sport. A tremendous effort was put in by all in researching their topic, consolidating the information and presenting it to both their class and the school. As part of the project we sang ‘Waltzing Matilda’ which included some Australian sayings. Some children held pictures to help the other classes understand these terms. Well done!
