To mark the 20th anniversary of’ the ‘United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child’ the European Commission launched the European Poster Competition.
The aim of the competition is to raise awareness on the issues of childrens’ rights and protection. Over the next couple of weeks students from 4th, 5th and 6th classes will be working together in groups to explore children’s rights. They will select and research a right of their choosing and will then create a group poster that illustrates the importance of this right. Each group will then submit their entry to the European Poster Competition.
