Bag Pack… Volunteers needed!!!

Dunnes Stores Bag Pack -Saturday, 28th April 9-6pm We need you to help raise much needed funds for the school.  This is only an hour out of your time, but means a HUGE amount to our school. Each class has a time allotted.  The aim is to have between 10-12 volunteers per hour. NETNS Garden – a very busy week!

We're making great progress on the NETNS School Garden.   Thank you for all of the kind donations and we are now very well stocked for seeds, bulbs and planting trays. If you have any spare tools, we would love to have a hoe or a rake and few more hand trowels and forks. We have planted the donated blackcurrant, redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry plants along the fence. Hopefully we should get our first crop this year! Hi everyone, As you all know we went on a History Walk on Wednesday to the Curragh as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations!! In school on Monday and Tuesday, we listened to Irish Legends about Cú Chulainn so on Wednesday we decided to go and see the fantastic monument of Cú Chulainn and the two Irish Wolfhounds on the Curragh. Book Week 2012

What an exciting week we've here in NETNS celebrating books and reading! Dancers and Singers in Junior Infants

Hi Everyone! We have been busy preparing for our visit to the Gaelscoil. We have a super poem and song ready to perform on Monday when we visit their Scioból which is a little bit like our Halla Glas. Seachtain na Gaeilge 2012!!

We are very excited to announce that we will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in NETNS next week! We have lots of activities planned and here are just some the highlights........ On Monday we will be visiting the Scioból in the Gaelscoil for a Céilí Mór!! The Gaelscoil have very kindly invited us to do some Irish Dances with them and we are very excited! Junior Infant News

Hello everyone! In Phonics we worked on the "v", "oo" and "oo" sounds. In Art we read the Story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We then designed the prints that could be found outside the Bears' House using paint. This week in Croí na Scoile we have been learning about Buddhism.
