Used Clothing Collection
NETNS PA in association with Lenrec Recycling is organising a used clothing collection to help raise funds for our school. The collection will take place next week; the Halla Glas will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday (24th & 25th) in the mornings and also in the afternoon from 1pm - 2.30 if you wish to bring in any clothes etc. We will also be collecting mobile phones if you wish to donate them - just keep them separate from the clothes and put in the designated collection point. This week we put up our bird-watching chart and have been busy filling it in every day. Today we were looking at live pictures from a bird box that has a robin nesting in it. The robin has five eggs that she is keeping warm as she waits for them to hatch. Garden Update

Its been another busy week and lots has been happening in the garden before the holidays! As 5th Class have been looking at The Great Famine in class, they planted some potatoes. We discussed where the potato came from and why people relied on it as a crop. 5th, 6th and 3rd class children all helped to plant some runner beans, carrots and leeks, whilst others also helped to build a new raised bed.
