Cd Cover Competition On Wednesday 21st two producers came into 5th class and told them they would like to make a cd with them. They told us that they wanted 5th class to hold a competition, for the cover and the inside of the cd. There will be a competition for the inside of the cd cover for junior, senior, 1st and 2nd. On Wednesday the 21st of March two producers came into our class and told us we were going to produce a CD. We would be in charge of everything except they had already chosen and written the songs. We were all given jobs; most of us will monitor the rehearsals and teach the songs to the children of the school. We were very lucky to have some brilliant Irish authors come to visit us during book week. Chris Judge came to share his fantastic picture book 'The Lonely Beast' with 1st class. Chris won the Specsavers Irish Children's Book of the Year for this super tale of a lonesome beast trying to friend his friends! 1st class had great fun listening to the story, asking Chris lots of questions and drawing their own versions of the Lonely Beast. We are very excited to announce that we will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in NETNS next week! We have lots of activities planned and here are just some the highlights........
