Everyone has been really busy in our after school club looking at Scratch Programming. In groups of 2/3, children made versions of the classic game 'Pong'. I've been amazed at how everyone has used teamwork and computer skills to help make their games. You can play them below! Well done to our senior gaelic football team this week who beat St. Patrick's of Celbridge in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 2-4 to 0-2 victory for NETNS. Level at half time it was all to play for but a powerful performance in the second half led to victory. Thank you for all the superb entries for the header competition. It was really tough to choose between all of the great designs. After much discussion, we decided that Hannah Dowling's (4th Class) design really captured the theme of gardening. Below are the requirements for Bag Pack as specified by Dunnes: Collect at selected checkouts to give customers a choice – the supervisor will inform us which ones we can work at. New applications in respect of children who wish to apply for a place on the bus for the coming year must be returned to Bus Éireann no later than April 27th. Application forms have been sent home with all children who do not currently use the bus. If you wish to make an application, you may also apply through the Bus Éireann website www.buseireann.ie. Well done to all the children who represented NETNS at the Cumann na mBunscoil Cross country competition on Thursday the 29th of March. We had a great time over at the Hawkfield grounds and I'm very proud to inform you that each one of our 22 athletes completed the course. Áine, who was running on the girls team, ran a fantastic race and came away with a medal.
