Brilliant fun on the European Day of Languages

On Monday children enjoyed a fantastic European Day of Languages! The teachers and children would like to say a huge thank you to all of the parents who came in to school to run language sessions. The children enjoyed them immensely. Junior infants loved learning some new words in Thai and Catalan as well as learning about these two amazing cultures. 3rd and 4th Class Swimming
The children in 3rd and 4th class will be attending swimming classes in the Curragh Swimming Pool for one hour on Tuesday mornings commencing 20th September. The children will have eight lessons which will cost €56 in total. This includes transport to and from the pool by a bus fitted with seat belts and instruction from fully qualified and certified instructors. Table Quiz
Another date for your diaries.... NETNS PA are organising a table quiz and invite parents/guardians and friends to come along. The quiz will be held on Friday 23rd September in Lumville house and is due to commence at 7.30pm. End of year 4th Class news
The end of the school year is upon us, but in Fourth Class today we looked back at the great last few weeks we have had. In June we had a very special visitor to the classroom who was most impressed by our learning, we also spent a lot of June doing projects, building mini bridges, anemometers and reading our class novel Little Croker. LOST PROPERTY – Last Chance!!
This is the final opportunity to come and claim any lost property... The PA will be opening up the Halla Glas on Thursday (30th June) morning for Parents/Guardians to come and claim any belongings which may have been "mislaid" during the year. There is a very large number of items which have not been claimed despite previous pleas. Sports Day, Tuesday 31st May
As you all know Sports Day is taking place on Tuesday 31st May at the Curragh Sports Ground (the old rugby club) commencing at 8.45am. We would like to take this opportunity to invite all parents to come along as spectators and to bring a picnic to enjoy this action packed day.
