Our School
Newbridge Educate Together is a child centred and co-educational run primary school. We operate under the patronage of Educate Together and cater for children from Junior Infants – 6th Class.
We have 16 mainstream classes and a current enrolment of over 400 pupils.
We are fortunate to have a fabulous building. In addition to our classrooms, we also have 6 SET rooms, a school library, a multi-sensory room, and our sports / assembly hall. Outside, as well as our yard and access to our shared sports pitch (a couple of mins walk away) we also have a school garden and amazing woodland.
The Learning ENvironment
We pride ourselves in the wide range of opportunities the children at our school have to develop their full potential.
Our school is dedicated to teaching students through positive learning experiences. We believe the unique learning styles of students should be considered when planning and implementing learning activities.
Our school helps each boy and girl to become a responsible and independent student, one who is a creative thinker, respectful of themselves and others, and appreciative of the differences amongst people.
Students at Newbridge can enjoy a huge range of sports. We have teams that enjoy and compete in; football, hurling, soccer and basketball. In addition, we run athletics and marathon club, and have strong links with the local GAA clubs.
From learning cello to piano, to enjoying participating in the Peace Proms, music is part of the daily life of the school.
